Cedillo to Host Free TPS Legal Clinic
Partners with St. Thomas Apostle School, Consulate Offices and Ferias Legales

Los Angeles–Councilmember Cedillo will host a TPS town hall and free legal clinic, part of his education and service referral efforts for undocumented residents in Los Angeles seeking to adjust their immigration status. Earlier this year, President Trump announced the end of Temporary Protected Status for Hondurans and Haitians living in the United States, and most recently ended TPS for Salvadorans, the largest group benefiting from the program (200,000). In a council district that is approximately 80% Latino, and a majority which is foreign born, these federal immigration policy decisions have created angst and worry among its residents.

Councilmember Cedillo has partnered with the Consul Generals of Honduras and El Salvador, St. Thomas Apostle School, and Ferias Legales, who provide pro bono legal consultations to immigrant communities.
