Cedillo and Ryu Host Lunar New Year in Council
Recognize the Year of the Rooster with Celebration
Los Angeles–Councilmembers Gil Cedillo and David Ryu will recognize the 2017 Lunar New Year with a presentation and celebration in Council Chambers. The Year of the Rooster begins on Saturday, January 28th, and lasts until February 15th, 2018. People born in the Year of the Rooster are characterized as honest, energetic, intelligent, flexible and confident. A special presentation will take place during council, complete with lion dancers and drums.
