Music Festival is a celebration of music and the moment. It's a celebration of culture and community. But most of all it’s a celebration of life!
During these trying times of uncertainty and unrest, Councilmember Gil Cedillo gives us a reminder of the vibrant spirit animating District One. A spirit of resilience, flavor and love.
By curating his favorite Latin Jazz ensembles to play for our community, Councilmember Cedillo provides an escape into a world of rhythmic heritage and beauty your family will certainly enjoy!

MORE ABOUT THE FESTIVAl PRODUCERS
El Centro del Pueblo was established in 1974 as a non-profit
community service agency for the purpose of alleviating and
mitigating the negative effects of gang violence. We are
dedicated to improve the quality of life for children, youth and
families through prevention, intervention, and education through
a coordinated range of services in Central, Northeast and South
Los Angeles.
Services
City of L.A.’s Gang Reduction & Youth Development Program
in 3 GRYD Zones
City of L.A.’s Family Source Center program, which assists low-income residents in becoming self-sufficient by increasing family
income and academic achievement.
El Centro also provides in-home outreach counseling, outpatient
mental health services, psychiatric evaluation and medication
support, case management, immigration services, parenting
classes, domestic violence support, Volunteer Income Tax
Assistance, financial literacy/coaching, HIV prevention, tutoring,
re-entry programs, legal consultation, youth leadership, college
advising, ballet, aerobics, Tae Kwon Do, yoga, boxing, and other
sports and recreation activities.
El Centro Del Pueblo has produced the Latin Jazz and Music
Festival since 2014 and musical theater productions including
Disney’s Aladdin Dual Language Edition, Disney’s Beauty and the
Beast – The Broadway Musical, Sister Act the Musical and the
upcoming ARENA: A House Music-al.
