Cedillo to Establish Dia del Centroamericano in LA

Los Angeles—On the heels of the Trump administration’s decision to end Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for Nicaragua and pending decisions for Honduras and El Salvador, Councilmember Cedillo will honor the Central American community by declaring November 22, 2017 ‘Dia del Centroamericano’ in Los Angeles. He will be joined by the Consul Generals of Nicaragua, Honduras and El Salvador, as well as Boardmembers from the Comite de Festejos Centroamericanos (COFECA).
