Except in California because of Cedillo’s long fight on behalf of immigrants, the California Dream Act was signed into law allowing them to receive college financial aid to realize their dreams and to help the economy of California. Councilmember Cedillo will be honored by the President of the University, Dr. Ann McElaney-Johnson at the event.
