Cedillo to Open Affordable Housing Complex for Vets
Adds to Affordable Housing Stock in Council District 1

Los Angeles—Councilmember Cedillo will join PALM Communities and PATH Ventures for the grand opening of the Marmion way Apartments in Cypress Park, a new affordable housing complex for veterans and their families. Marmion Way Apartments consists of 49 new affordable homes, which will include services that are specifically designed to support stable, independent living among people who are transitioning out of long-term homelessness.

Onsite case managers will work one-on-one with tenants to ensure lasting housing stability and provide such programs as gardening and nutritional cooking classes, and various other workshops proven to increase self-sustainability and nurture a strong sense of community among tenants and the neighborhood.
