Proclaiming Friday, December 8th, 2017 as “Guillermo A. Ahumada Day” in LA

Los Angeles—Councilmember Cedillo will honor Managing Editor/News Producer of Estrella TV, Channel 62, Guillermo A. Ahumada by proclaiming December 8th as “Guillermo A. Ahumada Day” in Los Angles. Mr. Ahumada has achieved high levels of professionalism for TV stations where he has gained incredible outcomes, for stations such as Telemundo, Univision, Channel 22 and Liberman Broadcasting. Mr. Ahumada has been Executive Director of Bread and Life Community Development Corporation, a community based nonprofit established since 2005 to the present, helping low income families to be self-sufficient, develop self-esteem and with educational workshops about domestic violence, drug abuse and family counseling.

Mr. Ahumada has been recipient of several recognitions from the County and State of California for his 35 years of professional journalistic and community work in Los Angeles California.
