Cedillo to Host El Grito de Independencia y UNIDAD 2017

Los Angeles—Councilmember Gil Cedillo will host the annual El Grito celebration for the City of Los Angeles, celebrating the independence days of Mexico, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Honduras, Guatemala, El Salvador and Chile. This year’s civic ceremony will include a tribute to DACA.

A family zone has also been added and will include community resource booths and legal pro bono consultations. Press availability from 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM.
