Council to Approve Reward Motion for Cypress Park Death

Los Angeles—The Los Angeles City Council will consider a reward motion tomorrow for an unsolved murder in Cypress Park. On January 1, 2017 at approximately 2:15 am, 22-year-old Christian Nino was fatally stabbed in front of 2627 Jeffries Avenue, in the Cypress Park neighborhood of Los Angeles. Detectives are continuing to investigate this death, but have not been able to identify a suspect or suspects. Detectives believe that a reward may compel members of the public to provide information on the identity of the person or persons responsible for this crime.

The motion calls for a $50k reward for information leading to the arrest of the person(s) responsible for this death.
