WHY: Councilmember Cedillo will host a delegation of dignitaries from El Salvador at Los Angeles City Council. The group includes 43 mayors from municipalities in El Salvador, representatives from the Consul General of El Salvador, the Ambassador of El Salvador, Tourist Board representatives, and other trade groups and associations.

The delegation arrived this week and will partake in a conference in Los Angeles to explore the enhancement of trade relations between Los Angeles and El Salvador. The conference focuses on introducing Salvadoran products to the U.S, market.
